This Is CFE: Crisis Intervention

DC SAFE is the only 24/7 crisis intervention agency for domestic violence in DC. CFE’s loan helped finance the development of a mixed-use property that will provide emergency housing for as many as 700 clients and their families, almost doubling the organization’s capacity to offer short-term placements for those in crisis. DC SAFE does even more for the long term. The nonprofit helps ensure the self-determination of domestic violence survivors through court advocacy and system reform, too.
