Data Privacy Policy

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard non-public personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. You can visit the City First Enterprises’ website, read about our services, check job opportunities, download certain files, etc., without giving us any personal information about yourself.

When you enter sensitive information on our pre-application or other online forms, we encrypt that information. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its security. We restrict access to non-public personal information about our customers to employees who need to know that information to provide products or services. We also educate all employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.

Website Use Information

The website is not designed nor intended to be attractive to use by children under the age of 18 (“Minors”). We do not knowingly collect information from Minors. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any information to us.

For purposes of determining “hit counts” and analyzing website trends, our server will track your IP address and the pages you access. We also may collect other non-personally identifiable information when you visit our website such as the type of browser you are using (e.g., Google Chrome), the type of operating system you are using, (e.g., Windows 11) and the domain name of your Internet service provider (e.g., AT&T). We may use aggregated data (independent of any personal identifiers) for research and commercial purposes. This information includes what areas our users visit most frequently and what services they access most often. This information helps us develop a better site that is more useful and accessible to you.

Cookies

In order to identify website users, we will occasionally use “cookies” or similar technologies. A cookie is a special text file that a website puts on a hard disk so that it can remember something later. Typically, a cookie records preferences when using a particular site. One can set up a browser to inform when cookies are set or to prevent cookies from being set, but users must agree to let cookies be saved for them to function. A website other than the one that set the cookie cannot read the cookie. CFE uses cookies and similar technologies for a number of administrative purposes, for example, to store preferences for certain kinds of information or to store a password. Most cookies last only through a single session, or visit (“session cookies”), but some that help us recognize a visitor when returning to the site and will remain for an extended period of time (“persistent cookies”). CFE uses both types of cookies. Users can set a browser to reject cookies, but some of the functions of the CFE website may not work if cookies are rejected.
