This Is CFE: High-Quality, Affordable Childcare

The line for a spot at a Northeast DC child development center had been so long that the waitlist exceeded 100% of capacity. In partnership with CFE, the center launched a second location so they could add 100 critically needed spots for the families they serve — most of whom work full time and rely on DC childcare subsidies to pay the monthly fees.

The ripple effect: 100 children benefiting from high-quality childcare, 100+ adults with reliable childcare, 1 under-resourced neighborhood receiving investment, and 26 jobs created.

Building Equity: Homes by CFE Paves the Way for Ms. Godwin's Homeownership

Our innovative new program aims to bridge the homeownership gap for Black and Latino families in the DC region, offering up to 20% of the home’s purchase price for down payments and additional purchase assistance.
